Someone mentioned in another thread that they overheard their post master stating that carriers won't be happy come July...

The only thing I could think of , is the presidents postal reform task force; they have 120 days to issue their findings....maybe August ..SMH...grrrrr

My spy says July 8th something is going down. It was in regards to when many routes cuts come into effect. And that they are cutting below 43k. Could be other things as well tho.

I can guarantee it is the result of some craft sabotaging back door deal made between the NRLCA , and the USPS.  No doubt they have delayed the report of the study because of it, and in lieu of implementing the study, they will make us a special deal contract wise, that they claim we would be stupid not to take.  ( and if we don’t, we are going to be labeled “egocentric” again. ).  My demand for you Jennie, and crew of useless dues squanderers, is that YOU RELEASE THE UNEDITED STUDY RESULTS, as well as COMMENTS FROM BOTH SIDES, BEFORE, ( YES BEFORE ) you serve up another platter of shit for a contract to vote on.  Stop playing hide and seek, you bunch of cowards.

Morty -- "My spy says July 8th something is going down. "

--  Not to get picky, but July 8th is a Sunday.

--  Not even manglement works on a Sunday.

--  Could it be that the "something" volume of data will be so great that not all of it could be published on Saturday, the 7th?

"And that they are cutting below 43k."

--  Manglement can do that, but needs [ lots of ] documentation and District approval.

Shafted -- let's try to keep things on a higher level.

--  For example, "bovine effluvium" has a nicer ring than "s..t".

Sorry, I used it also... I think the german is hoffenmist... However... it's still SH*T.

There is some scientific/educational paper which says that using the vernacular can be therapeutic and can bring a heightened awareness to a specific subject.

No SH*T......

Rumor mongers? I prefer the term meadow muffins or fido land mines. My virgin ears are on fire now.

As a speaker of the German language the word is scheibe. It has the B as a funny capital.  Pronounced as an "S". EG... SHY..SA emphasis on the 2nd S F..K is pronounced as FIK if interested . F..K you becomes FIK DISH as pronunciation.

Each time I find myself flat on my face I get up and get back into the race.

No matter what word we use for that Turd of a deal that we are getting it won't change it.  No matter how you polish it a turd is still a turd.

I have heard rumors that Walmart and Target will start drop shipments soon, could that be the July suprise?

Also have heard that Amazon and priority will be run out of ALL offices every Sunday, not just hubs anymore. If the office has no subs will they force regulars in?

Remember the contract said: paraphrasing, evey effort should be made to ensure no carrier is forced to work Sunday. They totally ignored and blew right past that for RCA's when edtablishing Sunday Amazon delivery, could history repeat itself

MrMagoo et al -- "Sunday Work"

--  Page 50 of the contract:  An office-wide list will be established for substitutes, rural carrier associates, and rural carrier relief carriers who desire to work on Sunday.  When there is a need to work leave replacements on Sunday, the Employer may require a part-time flexible rural carrier work prior to selecting qualified employees from the list.  The Employer will make every reasonable effort to avoid requiring substitutes, RCAs, and RCRs not on the list to work.

--  Step 4 ( R-54 ):  In part -- Regular rural carriers may not work on Sunday.

-- Page 3 of the contract:  Regular rural carriers may not work on Sunday.  [ unless a special MOU is drafted, such as working Sundays during the Christmas No-Overtime Period ]

--  Step 4 ( A-130 ):  In part:  Due to the continued expansion of the Sunday/holiday parcel delivery test, the parties have agreed to establish a new category of non-career employee identified as an assistant rural carrier ( ARC ), with the implementation of the 2015-2018 USPS-NRLCA National Agreement.

-- Interesting times ahead.
